Early Childhood-Positive Behaviors Interventions and Supports (EC-PBIS) is a tiered framework of prevention strategies and evidence-based interventions for promoting the social,emotional, and behavioral development of ALL young children.
The Region 12 State Support Team supports early childhood programs in implementing an EC-PBIS framework by providing technical assistance and professional development to early childhood professionals. Currently our region is working with New Philadelphia City Schools Preschool Program in cooperation with the Ohio Department of Education to pilot the EC-PBIS framework. Through this pilot, professional learning, coaching and resources are being provided to staff.
