Phonemic Awareness Training will analyze the research of Michael Heggerty on Phonemic Awareness. Alisa VanHekken, Reading Specialist and Literacy Consultant for Dr. Heggerty, will explore the curriculum developed from that research for Preschool-2nd grade that provides a direct instructional approach to build phonemic awareness skills.
