According to the Pathways for Prosperity,
when employers from around the world were
asked what attributes they seek in
employees, they listed leadership, teamwork,
and initiative as their top skills. The problem
of course is that it is difficult to measure or
put a grade on such skills when working with
students in the classroom. Todd will present
on ways to focus on 21st century skills in the
classroom and how to measure these skills.
Todd will discuss the topic of
Discipline/professional skills Used to Make
students Balanced (DUMB) goals. This
workshop will illustrate how participants not
only can measure such valuable skills in the
classroom but will also have participants
create an objective rubric to do so.
