K-12 Educators will participate in a THREE-DAY Virtual series with a fourth date for virtual offices hours.  Upon completion, attendees will be certified as a train-the-trainer of Positive Based Intervention and Supports.  PBIS is a framework, system, or approach for assisting school personnel in adopting and organizing evidence-based behavioral interventions into an integrated continuum that enhances academic and social behavior outcomes for all students. PBIS IS NOT a packaged curriculum, scripted intervention, or manualized strategy. PBIS IS a prevention-oriented way for school personnel to (a) organize evidence-based practices, (b) improve their implementation of those practices, and (c) maximize academic and social behavior outcomes for students. PBIS supports the success of ALL students (PBIS.org).    In addition to the 11 online contact hours, attendees will complete an Introduction Module with questions and complete activities and a scale up action plan before receiving their certification.  These additional hours should range from 4-7 hours depending on the pace of task completion.
