This 90-minute training will present an overview of adolescent literacy, instructional practices will draw from three Keys to Literacy professional development programs: The Key Comprehension Routine, The Key Vocabulary Routine, and Keys to Content Writing. Joan will also discuss how to embed reading and writing instruction that supports Tier I instruction for all students and Tier II instruction for students who struggle with literacy. The session will end with a question-and-answer session with Joan.
