SST Region 12 is
offering a Professional Learning that will focus on the Secondary Transition
Planning process to improve the postsecondary outcomes of students with
disabilities. Training will focus on choosing appropriate transition
assessments, pulling the student's preferences, interests, needs, or strengths
from those assessments, and designing goals and transition activities based on
the needs of the student.Audience: Directors of
Special Education, Intervention Specialists, Transition Specialists, Building
Administrators, and Guidance Counselors.
